My name is Megan Keith. Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my little space on the world wide web!
Hope-Full-Treasures has been a dream of mine for the last few years. It has been born out of the hope of finding joy in the simple treasures of life. It has been born out of being full of hope, in all the trials of life.
It’s taken me a few years to eventually take this step. The timing just hasn’t been right. Until now. Now is the time for me to say everything I have been wanting to say.
But first, a little more about me…I have been married to my best friend, Jason, since 21 November 2009. Jason and I have known each other since 2006. We first met at Cornerstone Christian College, where we were both studying theology. After a rocky beginning (we didn’t like each other very much), we became the best of friends, with the potential of a future together. And that is how our relationship began. We have no official start date. Our friendship developed naturally into the most awesome relationship. The way we like to break it down for people is:
We met in 2006, got engaged in 2008 and got married in 2009. And here we are today.
When we first started talking about marriage and family, one of the first things we both said was that we would love to have a child naturally, and we would also love to adopt. And we weren’t so fussy about the order in which it should happen.
Fast forward to 2015, and here we are, smack bang in the middle of our adoption process. And we couldn’t be more thrilled with life! The timing is right. We are as ready as we will ever be.
And this is where Hope- Full Treasures comes in to play. I have a lot going round and round in my head, that I would love to get out on this blog. However, the routine-planner-organizer in me won’t let it all just spill out…thankfully! I feel like for now, I need to blog about our adoption, how we came to the decision to begin the process, how the process works here in South Africa, and how we are preparing for this new exciting stage of life as a family of 3. And we will see how things go from there!
Thank you, again, for taking the time to read my blog. You are welcome to get in touch with me via the options on the Contacts page. Happy reading!
